It will also include overhauls to terrain generation of the randomized worlds, expanded base building, and much more. Hello Games LinkedIn Allegedly Hacked, Tweets "No Man's Sky was a Mistake"

Earlier today, the Hello Games Twitter account Tweeted out that "No Man's Sky was a mistake" to the public. The Tweet came via their linked LinkedIn account leading many to doubt the validity of such a statement actually coming from someone at Hello Games. The Twitter account was set to private shortly after the posting, though an image of the Tweet can be seen above. After this happened, various sites attempted to get a statement from Sean Murray of Hello Games. ...

No Man's Sky is a Massive Disappointment

About as deep and as entertaining as a puddle.

I did something a bit different with my "Week in Review" this week for No Man's Sky. Instead of just writing up a few sentences about why I think the game is a massive disappointment, I decided to share my unedited rant/thoughts about the game. I recorded this last night as part of my Twitch stream of World of Warcraft. Why was I playing WoW and not No Man's Sky while talking about No Man's Sky? Well, it's simply because No Man's...

Did Sean Murray of Hello Games Lie About Meeting Others in No Man's Sky?

The short answer seems to be "yes" to the question posed in the above headline. The longer answer seems to be "yes, but with some potential caveats."

Last night, No Man's Sky was released on the PlayStation 4 (PC release is on Friday). Players all over flocked to the game to explore the near countless number of worlds, never really expecting to run into another player. However, two streamers found that they were on the same planet! They made efforts to meet up with each other,...

No Man's Sky Reportedly Delayed Until at Least July

I hope you weren't too attached to that June 21 release date for No Man's Sky because it's looking like the game has been delayed. According to sources close to Kotaku, the game has been pushed back to "at least" July or August. One source initially provided word of the delay to the site. A second source, someone working at GameStop, said that their store was instructed to cover up any mention of the June 21 release date. The dates were covered up with a "Coming Soon" sticker, which is sh...
