Refunds Now Allowed on PlayStation Store Pre-orders but There is a Catch

For the longest time, if you wanted a refund from Sony for a purchase made through the PlayStation Store, you were either completely out of luck or were maybe given a one time exception. There were a few other times where Sony cracked open that refund door another inch, such as when games were severely broken to the point of crashing systems, but these were made once in a blue moon. Even then it wasn't a guarantee that you would be issued a refund if you requested one.

Yesterday, Sony pushed out a slightly less draconian refund policy for purchases...

Name Changes Coming Soon to PlayStation Network?

A new report from Kotaku says that Sony is gearing up to finally allow users to change their PlayStation Network names. This has been something that PSN users have requested for ages but it allegedly hasn't been possible.

It's long been rumored that name changes haven't been possible because Sony's database was so jumbled and held together with gum and strings that it made it near impossible to allow for name changes. Well, it seems as though Sony has gotten around to fixing that and perhaps even included some of the needed groundwork in the recent...

If the setting looks familiar to you, it should. It's been confirmed that the game takes place on the mean streets of Kamurocho, one of the staple cities of the Yakuza franchise. Only this time, you're fighting on the side of the law instead of just kind of helping out the law in a less than...

  • Yakuza 6 Demo Pulled from PSN After Players Found They Could Play the Full Game for Free

SEGA pulled a recently released demo for Yakuza 6: The Song of Life from the PlayStation Network after it was discovered that the full game could be downloaded and played for free. Some users discovered this little "bonus" when playing through the demo, which released earlier today. The download contained the entire game and seems to have only really impacted the download from the North American PlayStation Store. However, it seems as though the demo was pulled, at least temporarily, from all regions while it's sorted out. The original intent was to have the ...

We have some more PlayStation focused numbers for you today. Sony revealed that PlayStation Network users spend 26 billion minutes per week playing games.
