Name Changes Coming Soon to PlayStation Network?

A new report from Kotaku says that Sony is gearing up to finally allow users to change their PlayStation Network names. This has been something that PSN users have requested for ages but it allegedly hasn't been possible. It's long been rumored that name changes haven't been possible because Sony's database was so jumbled and held together with gum and strings that it made it near impossible to allow for name changes. Well, it seems as though Sony has gotten around to fixing that and pe...

  • Yakuza 6 Demo Pulled from PSN After Players Found They Could Play the Full Game for Free

SEGA pulled a recently released demo for Yakuza 6: The Song of Life from the PlayStation Network after it was discovered that the full game could be downloaded and played for free. Some users discovered this little "bonus" when playing through the demo, which released earlier today. The download contained the entire game and seems to have only really impacted the download from the North American PlayStation Store. However, it seems as though the demo was pulled, at least temporarily, f...

    Review: Windjammers (PS4)

What's Old is New Again, But Still Kind of Old.

Windjammers is a blast from the past, for both better and for worse. The game excels at being a fast-paced game that relies partly on reflexes, partly on skill, and partly on actual strategy. The colorful 16-bit graphics look just as great now as they did back in 1994 when the game first came out for the Neo Geo. In fact, I would argue that right now is the perfect time for this Windjammers revival given how many new games...

Two-Step Verification is Finally Here for PlayStation Network

Breathe a sigh of relief tonight because two-factor authentication (or 2-Step Verification as it's called here) has finally come to the PlayStation Network in North America.

It is strongly advised that you enable this security measure as soon as possible to protect your account. This is especially important now as there seems to be a rise in the number of PSN accounts being publicly reported as having been stolen.

To enable "2-Step Verification" through your...
