A new report by Jason Schreier at Bloomberg states that Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. is closing down three of their gaming studios and have cancelled development on a Wonder Woman game. These closures and cancellation are being done "in a bid to boost the profitability of its interactive entertainment business."

Warner Bros. Games and developer Player First Games just announced that their free-to-play platform fighter, MultiVersus, will be officially released on May 28, 2024. This return comes after the game was taken offline for several months following the conclusion of what Warner Bros. called an "open beta" for MultiVersus. An "open beta" that had its own Battle Pass and microtransactions.

As promised back in March, MultiVersus has officially gone offline. This officially marks the end of the "open beta" for MultiVersus, with its actual release not happening until early 2024.
