Bandai Namco released the Project Cars 2 demo on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One today. We also have word about the "Fun Pack" expansion for Project Cars 2. This expansion is slated for a Winter 2017 release. First up, the free demo allows you to try out the Ferrari 488 GT3, Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4, and Formula Renault 3.5 at the Red Bull Ring. To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Slightly Mad Studios has confirmed that Project CARS for the Wii U has been cancelled. Really, this shouldn't be too surprising given how talk about the Wii U version has been absent for weeks, even months now, even after it has been released on every other platform.
What happens now? Well, you have to wait for Nintendo's next console if you want to play the game on Nintendo hardware.

First up, word came yesterday that Project Cars was delayed again. This time the game has been pushed from a March release to an early April release. Specifically, it's now slated to be released on April 2 for the PC and April 7 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Wii U version is still in release limbo. The delay from Slightly Mad is being done to make some "final adjustments" to the game.
