    1666: Amsterdam is Back from the Dead and With a Demo

    Creative director Patrice Désilets is finally getting to make the game he's wanted to make for well over a decade. Désilets and game development studio Panache Digital Games, just re-revealed 1666: Amsterdam. This is a dark, third-person story-led action-adventure game that had a world premiere trailer at Summer Game Fest.

    Panache Digital Games and Private Division have released the first video in a new three-video series for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. We actually briefly talked about this game back when it was revealed to have a 2019 release date, which has some more general information about the game itself. As before, the game is looking to arrive this year on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

    The short of it is that the game tasks you with trying to survive, thus ensuring the future of your species through evolution and good decision making.
