You Can Now Play P.T. on the PC in VR

Unreal PT is what happens when someone takes assets from P.T., puts them back together in Unreal Engine 4, and adds in VR support because to hell with everything, you weren't going to sleep tonight anyway.

For those that forgot about P.T., it is the "Playable Teaser" that was created by Kojima Productions and Guillermo Del Toro back in 2014. It was revealed and released without anybody knowing just what it was all about. Most who dove in thought it was just a unique horror demo and that was it. It wasn't until clever puzzle solvers discovered that it was an incredibly impressive teaser for Silent Hills, a new entry in the Silent H...

    Allison Road Cancelled

Allison Road, the game that aimed to give the world an experience similar to the much-beloved P.T. and Silent Hills, has been cancelled. The team sent out a tweet last night that doesn't provide much in the way of explanation but does offer up an apology to their fans.
Hi all. Sadly Allison Road had to be cancelled. Statement to come in the next few days. Thx for all your support and very sad it came 2 this
Allison Road had a fairly successful Kickstarter campaign this past September that was cancelled when the game was picked up by publisher Team17. Since then, there has been very little in the way of news. ...

First-Person Horror Title Allison Road Kickstarter Underway

With Konami crapping all over P.T. and the Silent Hill franchise, Allison Road might be the next best thing right now. Today, a Kickstarter for the first-person horror title kicked off. They're looking for $388,281 (USD) and are currently (as of this posting) sitting at over $51,000 with 29 days remaining. The game is being built on Unreal Engine 4 by a team comprised of "entertainment industry veterans and life-long game enthusiasts" at Lilith Ltd, a newly formed UK based studio. Below, you can see a prototype video for their game. The video originally came out on June 30 of this year. ...

  • Black Hound is Yet Another P.T. Inspired Horror Game That Angered Two Fanbases (Updated)

UPDATE: Even better is the speculation now that Black Hound isn't even an actual project. Many now suspect that even this was just another lie from the Ingsoc team as part of their plan to... to... Well, I'm not really sure what their endgame is, nor do I think that even they know what their own endgame is with all of this nonsense.

As of right now, the ingsoc.org site countdown timer is no more. In its place are some words (pictured below) that link to this Funhaus video. The Rooster Teeth owned Funhaus issued a very direct statement about the matter, stating that they are in no way associated or affiliated with the goings on at Ingsoc.
This video is not related to ingsoc.org in any way. The person / people that made that website linked to this video without asking us and

Del Toro Hesitant to Make Games Again After Being Screwed Over Twice Now

Guillermo Del Toro says that he is kind of hesitant to try making a game again after being screwed over twice now. His first attempt came in 2012 when he was working with THQ on a game called Insane that was eventually cancelled. His latest is obviously the now DOA Silent Hills from Konami.

Del Toro also expressed his feelings on how Konami handled Silent Hills and P.T. being pulled from PSN.

  • P.T. No Longer Downloadable on PSN Even If You Had it in Your Library Previously

Hey, remember how Konami decided to do a bunch of really stupid stuff this past month or two? Remember how one of those things was pulling P.T. from the PlayStation Network about a week ago?

Everybody believed that if you "purchased" the free game, you would be free to download it later on without issue. Why would anybody think otherwise? Similar situations have happened in the past where items were no longer allowed to be purchased but if you "owned" them, then you could still download them at a later date by using the same account.

Well it seems as though Konami is going hog wild on angering their fans ...

  • People Are Scumbags - Ebay Listings Pop Up for PlayStation 4 Consoles with P.T. Installed

In case you needed to be reminded, people are scumbags. A number of "ultra rare" and "exclusive" listings cropped up over the day from people selling their PlayStation 4 consoles with P.T. installed on the hard drive.

For those wondering "why" it's because Konami decided to pull P.T. from the PlayStation Network. Meaning that if you didn't already have it on your console or have it tied to your account, you can no longer acquire it legitimately. But hey, now you can go spend $1,000 for what was a free game....

  • Guillermo del Toro and Norman Reedus Confirm that Silent Hills as We Know it is Dead

We all saw the signs. We all knew this was coming from a mile away. However, both Guillermo del Toro and Norman Reedus both said today that Silent Hills is currently dead. It's not going to happen, at least not how we had all hoped it would.

Matt Hackney passed along word from Guillermo del Toro earlier today.

This was later followed up by a comment from Norman Reedus.

Del Toro said that he was really only interested in working with Kojima on the project. He said that whether or not Silent Hills is fully cancelled and will never ever see the light of day in any ...
