    Onimusha: Warlords returns today with some remastered visuals from a bygone era. The game is now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. For the low price of just $19.99 (USD) you too can venture into a world filled with demons, samurai, magic, and violence.     Onimusha: Warlords is Getting Remastered by Capcom

    One of the best franchises of the PlayStation 2 era is making a return. Capcom announced today that they are remastering Onimusha: Warlords for modern platforms and PC. Between this and the Resident Evil 2 remake, Capcom is absolutely nailing it.

    Capcom Registered Onimusha Trademark in Japan

    If you haven't played any of the Onimusha PS2 games yet, I feel sorry for you. You should go do that right now. I mean for God's sake, Jean Reno was a character in Onimusha 3, so you know it's legit!

    Anyway, where was I? Oh right.

    It seems as though Capcom has something up its sleeve for the franchise because they recently registered a new trademark for "Onimusha" over in Japan. The last main entry in the franchise came in 2006, with a browser game having been released in 2012. With any luck, Capcom is actually going to revive this franchise and this isn't for some horrific browser game or mobile...
