    Nintendo is demanding a full refund plus interest.

    Nintendo is joining the hundreds of other companies that are suing the United States government over the "sweeping tariffs" put in place by the Trump administration in 2025. Nintendo's lawsuit, first spotted by Aftermath, was filed on March 6 with the U.S. Court of International Trade by Nintendo of America.

    So long, Doug Bowser.

    Nintendo of America (NOA) announced today that Doug Bowser will retire as the company's president and chief operating officer on December 31, 2025. Replacing him will be Devon Pritchard, "a 19-year veteran of the video game industry and long-standing member of the NOA leadership team." Pritchard will also join the NOA board of directors and become an executive officer at Nintendo.

    After almost 13 years as Nintendo of America's President and COO, Reggie Fils-Aime will retire. Reggie announced that his last day with the company will be on April 15. Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America's current Senior VP of Sales and Marketing, will take over as the new President for Nintendo of America.
