    Wreckreation Announced from Former Burnout Creators

    A new racing game from the former creators of Burnout and Need for Speed was announced this past week during the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase. It's called Wreckreation and combines racing with live editing of the racecourse.

    Old Need for Speed Titles Delisted Today

    Online services shutting down August 31.

    EA is pulling the plug and delisting a number of older Need for Speed titles today. This means that the games will no longer be available for sale, their in-game stores closed, and their online services will be shuttered. EA says that this decision was made as it is "shifting gears (GET IT?!) to focus on the future of Need for Speed." These removals seem to have come without any advance warning that we've seen.

    Need for Speed Delayed as EA Shifts Criterion to Battlefield 6 Development

    New Need for Speed won't be released until 2022.

    Ghost Games, an EA studio, just released the latest Need for Speed game. Need for Speed Heat is out today for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on Origin for PC. If you were a subscriber to EA Access or Origin Access, you were already able to access the game for a few days now.

    Developer Ghost Games and publisher EA today announced that a new Need for Speed game is coming, and probably arriving sooner than you think.
