    Bethesda is celebrating 25 years of The Elder Scrolls today. On this day back in 1994, Bethesda released the first Elder Scrolls title called The Elder Scrolls: Arena for DOS.     Return to Morrowind in The Elder Scrolls Online

    Bethesda announced today that the next bit content drop for The Elder Scrolls Online will be a return to Morrowind. This update will include a new zone set in Vvardenfell, a new player class, "more than 30 hours of main story content," a new Trial, and new 3v3 and 4v4v4 PvP modes.

    The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is currently available for pre-order and is slated for release on June 6 for the PC, Mac, PS4, and XB1.

    Physics Based Rendering Added to Morrowind Engine

    A modder, Hrnchamd, managed to get Physics Based Rendering (PBR) and normal mapping added into the 14-year old Morrowind game engine. The video was uploaded by user PeterBitt on YouTube and shows off the work done by Hrnchamd.

    It obviously isn't the best looking use of PBR, but it could breathe some added life into that game one day.
