    Fallout 1st may be a worse value than initially feared.

    Yesterday, Bethesda announced and rolled out a new, paid service for Fallout 76. They are calling it Fallout 1st and for $13 a month or $100 for a year, players are able to enjoy features like private servers, unlimited storage for your crafting scrap, a tent, and some other bonuses.

    Fallout 76 Locks Long-Awaited Private Worlds Behind Monthly Fee

    The most fan requested feature will launch at $13 a month.

    Fans have been requesting private worlds for Fallout 76 since before the game ever even launched. Game director Todd Howard even announced that they wanted to add private servers to the game all the way back in QuakeCon 2018. Along with the launch of private servers, Bethesda even said that you would be able to mod those servers.

    When June 9 rolls around, The Elder Scrolls Online will no longer require a monthly fee to play on PC and will be renamed The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. This is also the same date that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game will be released. They also will not require a monthly subscription fee.

    SOE Announces Unified Subscription Model for Online Games

    In the past, Sony Online Entertainment had separate subscription fees for different games. Earlier today, they announced that they will soon have a unified subscription model. That means that one fee per month will grant players access to all of SOE's subscription based games.
