That's probably one State of Play announcement revealed.

This year marks the 25th anniversary since the first Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver game was released on PC and PlayStation (a Dreamcast release happened a year later). That seems like a pretty good time to announce some shiny new remasters for an entirely new generation of gamers.

Crystal Dynamics hasn't forgotten about the Legacy of Kain franchise. At least, it seems like some of them there haven't forgotten about it. Crystal Dynamics, the development studio behind the Tomb Raider franchise, announced today that they have expanded their operations by opening up a new studio. Located in Bellevue, Washington the new studio is called Crystal Northwest.

The studio has officially started up operations already. It is a "full-fledged extension of Crystal Dynamics" and it will initially help develop new technologies for the studio. It is also helping to work on the upcoming Avengers Project. Crys...
