Bethesda and id Software announced the release of the 6.66 update for DOOM Eternal today. This update adds, among other things, a brand new horde mode.

Naughty Dog announced today that their co-op Survival mode will be added to Uncharted 4 come mid-December. From the sounds of the lengthy description (seen below), there will be 50 waves and 10 maps available at launch. If you would like to play the Horde mode for Gears of War 4, you may be excited to hear that only the host of the session needs to own the maps in order for everyone to play. This news was passed along to Shacknews from The Coalition's Rod Fergusson. A group of friends can have one friend pick up the maps and act as host for all sessions. Despite the raids being one of the major pulls for players to constantly return to Destiny, Bungie has revealed today that the House of Wolves expansion will not feature a new raid. Instead, the company will offer a 3-player battle arena mode called "Prison of Elders."
