Most Planned DLC for Final Fantasy XV Cancelled as Game Director Hajime Tabata Quits
Woo man, last night was one hell of a roller coaster for fans of Final Fantasy XV. Square Enix held a special event focused solely on just what is going on with Final Fantasy XV, its future content, and everything else. It just so happens that the "everything else" is game director Hajime Tabata quitting Square Enix and most of the planned DLC episodes being cancelled.
Oh no.
Right now, Final Fantasy XV Episode Ardyn is still planned to be released in March...
GDC 2017: Square Enix Shows Off Final Fantasy XV Tech Tests Running on PC
Square Enix's Hajime Tabata showed off a very interesting demo reel at GDC today. According to PCGamesN, Tabata's special demo reel had a number of very familiar Final Fantasy XV characters running around through some fields.
The demo utilized Nvidia's TurfEffects that allowed for the scene to render 100 million blades of grass that properly reacted to the characters running through them. It also showed off Nvidia's new fluid dynamics and fur that is part of their Gameworks systems.

It looks like you will have to yet again "wait a bit longer" for the release of Final Fantasy XV. The game, which has been in development for about a decade now (that's not a joke), has again been delayed. The new release date is set for November 29, 2016. The previously announced release date was set for September 30.
This release date will allow the development teams time to further polish and conduct quality testing so that the reality of the game can match the expectations of
Final Fantasy XV Looking to Borrow Tech from Just Cause 3
Discussions are already underway between Square Enix and Avalanche Studios on possibly acquiring some of the Just Cause 3 tech for use within Final Fantasy XV.
Final Fantasy XV director, Hajime Tabata, revealed the information to IGN about this.
