Polyphony Digital, the studio behind the Gran Turismo franchise, just announced My First Gran Turismo. This will be a special free-to-play Gran Turismo "experience" that gives players a little taste of what it's like to drive fast cars as they were meant to be driven: Fast. My First Gran Turismo is expected to go up on the PlayStation Store on December 6 at midnight (local time) and will be free to everyone.

Sony just announced that they are making TV adaptations of three major PlayStation franchises. Polyphony Digital and Sony announced that the closed beta for Gran Turismo Sport will kick off in the United States on March 17. European racers will get to participate in phase two which begins at a later date.

This beta includes a rotating selection of cars and tracks to try out. This also marks the first time that we'll see how the Driver Profile is integrated into the game.
