    No word on whether or not this will be exclusive like Resident Evil 4 VR.

    At some point during today's Facebook Connect, android and CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be coming to the Oculus Quest 2.

    Oculus Quest 2 Announced - 90Hz Display, New Controllers, Starting at $300

    Pre-orders open today.

    The biggest announcement out of today's Facebook Connect event was the official reveal of the Oculus Quest 2. It is the latest standalone headset from Oculus/Facebook that offers 6DOF (six degrees of freedom) without the need to be tethered to a PC.

    Pre-orders begin today for a launch that won't take place until October 13th. Pre-orders begin at about the $300 (USD) mark for a 64GB model and $400 for a 256GB model.

    Facebook is Discontinuing the Rift Product Line in 2021

    Company will no longer build PC-only VR headsets.

    Facebook announced today that they will discontinue the manufacture and sale of the Rift product line in early 2021. Once this happens, the company will no longer have any PC-only VR headsets available for sale.

    This reveal comes shortly after the company announced the Quest 2, a device that will still make use of the Oculus Link in order to connect to a PC if so desired.
