Assuming there are no further GTA delays.

As 2026 continues to stumble along, it's looking more and more likely that Grand Theft Auto 6 will actually be released on November 19, 2026. Well, released only on PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S. Still, Grand Theft Auto 6 will be a huge game. Some are already calling it their game of the year, others claiming it will be game of the decade. A release might be around the corner.

South Korea's classification website (GRAC) just put up a listing for Fable today, suggesting that the game's release may be just around the corner. The Fable listing on the ratings site displays a "19" classification, indicating that Fable is only for those aged 19 and above.

According to reporting from The Verge, Xbox is looking to have a rather big year in 2026. Citing confidential sources, The Verge says that the Xbox division at Microsoft will release a new Forza game, a new Halo, a new Fable, and a new Gears of War title this year.

Of course, all of these were already known to be coming. Forza Horizon 6 will be the first of these four to be released, with a release date set for May 19th.

Fable is still Fable after all these years.

During today's Developer_Direct for Xbox, Playground Games shared an extended look at the upcoming Fable. We were given a much better look at many of the game's systems and mechanics as well as a good look at gameplay.

First up is word that Fable is targeting a release this fall on Xbox Series X|S, Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Cloud, and Game Pass. An exact date isn't known but at least it's narrowed down a bit.

Playground Games and Microsoft confirmed today that they will share new looks at both Forza Horizon 6 and Fable during the new Xbox Developer_Direct showcase on January 22nd.

It was rumored for a little while that Playground would show off new looks at Forza Horizon 6 and Fable during the show, but a new Xbox blog made it official.

Microsoft and developer Playground Games officially announced that Fable is delayed out of 2025 and will instead be released at some point in 2026. While this is certainly some unfortunate news, the studios did also show off some new, pre-alpha gameplay from Fable which was pretty hype.

Microsoft finally, finally announced that a new Fable is in development. The new title was briefly teased today during the Xbox Games Showcase event. It wasn't much, but it's more than what we have gotten over the past several years.

Microsoft didn't want anybody to forget that Fable Legends was still being made and is still coming to the Xbox One and Windows 10. As such, they released a new trailer for the game this week at E3 2015.

Fable Legends will be a free-to-play game on the aforementioned platforms and will feature cross-device multiplayer. There is still no release date for the game just yet.
