Bandai Namco seems to have teased the next entry in their popular fighting franchise.

After the awards were given for the Tekken 7 portion of Evo 2022, Bandao Namco showed fans at home and in-attendance a new trailer.

The trailer announced an upcoming free update for Tekken 7 but ends with the OG Tekken end-game cutscene where Kazuya drops Heihachi off the side of a cliff. That cutscene ends with Kazuya smiling really creepily at the camera and then immediately cutting...

A new feature here, a new character there.

EVO Japan was large and in charge this past weekend. As is seemingly customary with these events, some new content was announced for existing games like Tekken 7 and even Soulcalibur VI.

For Tekken 7, fans learned about some of what is coming in the 3.2 Game Update. Thanks to a new developer diary, we also see how the new new characters, Leroy Smith and Fahkumram, are coming along.

During this weekend's Tekken 7 grand finals at EVO, a short video was played showing Solid Snake talking to Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada. Snake belted out, as only Snake could, a line about playing some "good ass Tekken" before the fake feed was cut.

Team Ninja announced a bunch of things today for Dead or Alive 6 during EVO Japan 2019. First up is the announcement of a Deluxe Demo for the game. Second, they announced Dead or Alive World Championship, a new esports venture. Finally, they also revealed the first details on the "DOA6 Season Pass 1," which includes two characters from SNK's The King of Fighters XIV.

Koei Tecmo just announced that they will have playable Dead or Alive 6 builds at the Evolution Championship Series (Evo) 2018, taking place August 3-4 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

A Twitch viewer caused a fair bit of panic today after they threatened a mass shooting at this year's Evolution Championship Series (EVO). The Twitch user called "quackquackhonks" apparently made the threat earlier today in another user's stream chat.


Joey "Mr. Wizard" Cuellar was quick to issue a statement about the threat. The head of EVO stated that he has already informed the FBI via their tips website. He says he has also notified Twitch.
