    Konami Delays Full eFootball Launch Until Spring 2022

    After its disastrous early access release, it's probably for the best.

    Konami has officially delayed the official launch of eFootball until at least Spring 2022. Back in July, Konami announced that they were turning their Pro Evolution Soccer series into a free-to-play and ever evolving soccer title that they were calling eFootball. Unfortunately for them and for fans, the early access release of eFootball was terrible, and that's putting it mildly.

    FIFA 22 is Now Available

    In case you wanted a soccer game that isn't super broken in 2021.

    EA Sports FIFA 22 is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Stadia, Steam, and Origin. Just as is the case with this year's Madden NFL 22 release, FIFA 22 only features a bunch of next-gen exclusive features not available on the previous generation of consoles nor the PC releases.

    Even with that said, this is still probably the better of the two soccer games that came...

    Konami Turns PES into eFootball and is Making it Free-to-Play

    New engine, new name, new release, new pricing model.

    Konami has officially announced that their Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) is no more. In its place will be eFootball, a new and free-to-play soccer game that will be released digitally only on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC this Fall.
