Steam Summer Sale 2019 is Now Live

    Wallets be aware.

If you noticed Steam is loading slowly today, or even not at all, there is a good reason for it. The Steam Summer Sale 2019 kicked off just about an hour ago today. It seems as though this year's official name for the sale is the "Steam Grand Prix Summer Sale" and it runs from now (June 25) through until July 9, 2019.

During this time, you'll be able to save a lot of money on a lot of games. I'm talking about thousands of games being on sale here. You want Assassin's Creed Odyssey for 50% off? You got it.

    Nioh 2 Closed Alpha Teaser

    Pull my devil trigger?

A new teaser trailer is out today for Nioh 2. This trailer gives you a little glimpse of the upcoming closed alpha for the game. Invites for the alpha have already gone out to some PlayStation 4 owners. According to Team Ninja, there are no plans to expand the alpha beyond those who are already invited.

Like its predecessor, Nioh 2 looks to bring even more action and exploration to fans that liked the original. It seems as though there will once again be a wide variety of enemies to face, moves to master, and even something...

Bloody Palace Mode Arrives April 1 for Devil May Cry 5

Capcom announced today that the free Bloody Palace Mode for Devil May Cry 5 will be released on April 1.

No, this isn't an early April Fools joke. They actually make sure to point this fact out in the press release.

Bloody Palace Mode has been a fan favorite and has been included in every Devil May Cry game aside from the first game. It's a bit like a wave-based game mode that has enemies that grow in strength the further along you go.

Devil May Cry 5 is Out Now

Fans of the franchise are already well aware, but for the rest of us: Devil May Cry 5 is now available globally. This is the latest in the long-running Capcom developed franchise that saw its peak back with 2013's highly rated DmC: Devil May Cry. This was a game that scored better than the previous three releases.

Actually, according to reviews, the franchise peaked at the very first game, but it's more amusing to say DmC was the best game out of all of them.

Devil May Cry 5 continues the story of Dante, Nero, and Vergil starting at a...

Obviously you shouldn't watch if you don't want any spoilers for the game. It's an hour of gameplay, so spoilers are almost certainly going to be showing up at some point.

The footage is brought to you by the Devil May Cry 5 team at Capcom including Itsuno Hideaki, Matt Walker, and Matt Edwards.

Devil May Cry 5 Has Microtransactions. So What?

Over the weekend, the Internet lost its collective mind, as it tends to do, over Bowsette Peachowser the revelation that Devil May Cry 5 will have microtransactions. These microtransactions will allow you to get a bunchy of Red Orbs, the series equivalent to experience orbs. The microtranactions are there as a way to fast-track your ability to unlock new moves in the game.

GameSpot first noticed the microtransactions during some hands on time with Devil May Cry 5 during the Tokyo Game Show. They asked the game's director Hideaki Itsuno what the deal...

Dante Pulls His Devil Trigger in Newest Devil May Cry 5 Trailer

The 2018 Tokyo Game Show is the slow drip that just keeps on giving. About two hours ago now, Capcom unveiled a new trailer for Devil May Cry 5 that features some "bombastic Dante gameplay." Those are their words, not mine, hence the quotes though I have no reason to doubt that it lacks any measure of bombasticy.

Devil May Cry 5 Rumors Surface

Please note that as with all rumors, there is nothing official here until Capcom announces something. Take whatever you see here as "leaked" with a big grain of salt. With that said, new rumors surfaced this week on ResetERA concerning the still unannounced Devil May Cry 5. According to the rumors, the game has already been in development for roughly two years and is looking to be released some time in the fiscal year 2019 (between April 2018 and March 2019). Continuing, the plan was to announce Devil May Cry 5 at this year's PSX (December 9-10), but this id...
