The ransomware group known as Mogilevich claims to have pulled 189GB of data from internal servers at Epic Games. The group claims to have obtained a slew of data including, but not limited to, "email, passwords, full name, payment information, source code and many other data." The group says that the "have quietly carried out an attack to Epic Games' servers."

According to Vice, EA has suffered a massive data theft at the hands of hackers. Some 780GB of data has reportedly been stolen from EA's servers, including the source code for FIFA 21, code for FIFA's matchmaking servers, the Frostbite engine, software development kits (SDKs), and more. Sources provided screenshots of the hackers offering up the code for sale on various "underground hacking forums."

EU Rust Players Hit with Data Loss After Fire Destroys Data Center
Confirmed today by developer Facepunch.
Rust developer Facepunch Studios confirmed today that a large chunk of players in the EU have lost their save data after a fire broke out through the OVH data center in Strasbourg, France.
This fire reportedly destroyed one building and spread to the data center next door. Nobody was critically injured during this blaze, but the data stored on those servers is toast.

Authorities in the UK Arrest Six Teens Connected to Attacks on Sony and Microsoft
Authorities in the U.K. have arrested six male teens that they say are members of Lizard Squad in connection to the cyber-attacks that brought down PlayStation Network and Xbox Live at various points over the past year.
Six people have been arrested in the UK as part of an operation targeting users of hacking group Lizard Squad’s Lizard Stresser tool, software that allowed users to pay to take websites offline for up to eight hours at a time.
