Yesterday, Gearbox announced a super controversial partnership with G2A, a "grey market" retailer of PC game keys. The partnership had G2A being an exclusive retailer of some special editions of Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition. Man, the Internet was pissed. G2A is notorious for their shady business practices so to see a fairly large studio like Gearbox actually partner with them was kind of beyond the pale. Two days ago, Valve pulled Hatred from Steam Greenlight. As of last night, the title that tasks you with carrying out mass murder was added back to Steam with a personal apology made to the team at Destructive Creations by Valve's Gabe Newell.

Mere hours after it hit Steam Greenlight, controversial game Hatred pulled it off of the service calling the title "unpublishable."
A message sent to developer Destructive Creations included the following note:
"We wanted you guys to know that based on what we see on Greenlight we would not publish Hatred on Steam. As such w'all be taking it down."The guidelines for Steam Greenlight does include a bit about how submissions must not "contain offensive material." ... -
