Sledgehammer Games will take care of the rest.

Treyarch is moving on from development of Call of Duty Zombies for Modern Warfare as the studio sets sights on future game development. Speaking with CharlieIntel, Treyarch says that they are moving "focus to something exciting on the horizon." That sure sounds like they are about to really buckle down on working on this year's Call of Duty, which is presumed to be Black Ops Gulf War.

Get an additional 24 hours of double XP.

Double XP has been extended for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Apparently, fans were rather upset about how short of a time the ongoing double XP event was and Treyarch responded with some positive news. In short, the double XP will last for an extra day. It will now end at 10AM (PT) on Tuesday, November 17.

Double XP has been enabled for both the Black Ops Cold War multiplayer mode and the Zombies mode.

PlayStation 4 owners with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 can now download and play Operation Absolute Zero. This is, so far, the biggest content drop for Black Ops 4 since the game was released. Xbox One and PC players will have to wait until December 18 to play this new content because timed exclusives are stupid but it is what it is.

Some details about Blackout, the battle royale mode coming with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 are starting to come out this week courtesy of the October issue of Game Informer. Sony announced that the game was added to this month's free PlayStation Plus game offerings. The base game is free, but all of the DLC still comes with a price. Still though, it's a free Call of Duty game, a sighting more rare than Bigfoot.

You have until July 11, 2018 to snag your free copy of the game.
