It's a big day for Battlefield 6 players. Today marks the release of Season 1, the release of Update 1.1.1.0, and the launch of the free battle royale mode. There are also new Twitch Drops available starting today for those that need some additional cosmetic items.

The full changelog for Update 1.1.1.0.

When Season 1 for Battlefield 6 releases on October 28, it will do so on the same day that Update 1.1.1.0 comes out. They won't drop at exactly the same time on Tuesday. The title update will be out first followed later in the day by the launch of Season 1.
