Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Servers for Battleborn have been shut down forever.
You can't say you didn't see this one coming. The servers for Battleborn have been shut down for good. The final day of the game being available to play was January 31, 2021. Gearbox sent the game out not with a bang, but with a whimper.
The final update for the game came all the way back in October 2017. We knew about the server shut down as early as November 2019. Last night, the plug was pulled from the servers and...
The good news is that Battleborn isn't dead. Who knew, right? The bad news is that it will be once January 2021 rolls around. 2K announced via Twitter that they will be deactivating the servers for Battleborn in a little over a year from now.
They also pulled the game from every digital storefront they could. I'm sure the millions of you that were still on the fence about picking it up for a year full of fun and merriment...
If I were to tell you that Battleborn has a new four-day community weekend coming up, what would you say? You'd probably laugh, right? Well, I looked it up and apparently there's still like 50 some people playing that game on PC, which is 49 more players than what you would find playing LawBreakers right now. Crazy, right?
Gearbox has some stuff coming to those current players and any player who decides to once again fire up the game.
The final update for Battleborn came out on October 18 and with it marks the true death of the game. It will no longer receive any updates. The remaining 82 PC players (24-hour peak; 51 on at the time of this posting) are undoubtedly sad to hear this news.
The final list of changes largely consists of new skin additions, some balancing tweaks, and some bug fixes. Farewell, Battleborn. You were fun for a little bit but whatever little community that game once had died off in...
First, it may come as a shock to you to hear that Battleborn was still being actively developed for until this past week. Secondly, it may come as a shock to maybe one or two of you out there to hear that the development of your favorite game has come to an end.
The news was delivered by a Randy from Gearbox. No, not that one. I'm talking about Randy Varnell, the Creative Director of Battleborn. He says that the bulk of the team will move on to a different, unannounced project...
Gearbox Software and 2K have been hard at work creating a new PvP mode for the ultra popular Battleborn. Supercharge is a new 3v3 mode that incorporates new maps.
In Supercharge, players escort minions through gates to earn points, while also fighting to control a single capture point. The team that owns the capture point “supercharges” their minion wave, adding tougher minions and more opportunities for scoring points.

Battleborn Goes "Free" to Play with a "Free Trial" Starting Today
2K and Gearbox announced today that Battleborn now has a free "trial." It is being unceremoniously called Battleborn: Free Trial and it grants unlimited access to the competitive multiplayer and maps all without time limits, level caps, or any planned end date. Yes, they have very carefully not called it "free to play" in their announcement. So I guess Pitchford can still be "technically" correct about the game not going "F2P."
So this "free trial" differs from being a full "free to pl...
Battleborn Updates with Fifth Story Operation Today
The firth Story Operation for Battleborn was released today. That's right, the fifth story related piece of content was released today by 2K and Gearbox. The latest is "Phoebe and the Heart of Ekkunar" and will be out at 3PM (ET).
In this story Op, Players can journey with Phoebe to the shattered planet Ekkunar to discover the secret behind what’s holding the world together while unlocking the mysteries of the Varelsi, secrets of Ekkunar’s ancient inhabitants, the Aztanti, and
Gearbox and 2K released the fourth Story Operation for Battleborn today. It's called Montana and the Demon Bear and I have a strong feeling that there is a bear involved.
In addition, the studio revealed the fifth Story Operation called Phoebe and the Heart of Ekkunar. I'm guessing there aren't any bears in that one, but one can hope.
Montana and the Demon Bear: In Battleborn’s DLC Story Operation 4, Montana shares the tale of his fearsome encounter with a terrifying
