Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has just been officially announced and revealed for the third-ish time in the history of the world. There is a soft reboot of the Modern Warfare story for the Call of Duty franchise and should not be confused with the original release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in 2007 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered in 2016.

This Modern Warfare is slated to be released on October 25, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The PC release will once again be sold through the Battle.net client....

  • Blizzard Attempting to Clean up Twitch Chat Dumpster Fire by Tying Accounts to Battle.net

If you've ever been on Twitch for even a small amount of time, you probably have a decent idea of just how downright terrible the chat experience can be. It is especially egregious in larger chats and chats that lack proper moderation, filters, or spam reduction modes enabled. Even then, it's still kind of garbage. Blizzard realizes this and they are apparently taking their own steps to try to make the chat experience a little bit less crap.

The studio announced that they will soon require anybody interested in chatting during various Overwatch matches to tie their Twitch...

This naturally broke the previous record set by 2017's Call of Duty: WWII. Black Ops 4 also set records on the PlayStation for most day one digital full game sales through the PlayStation Store. It was also the best-selling Activision Xbox One digital game on day one. Though this was the first year for the Call of Duty franchise to appear solely on Battle.net, sales of the PC version were more than double when compared to last year's...

  • Black Ops 4 - No Single Player Campaign; Battle Royale Mode and BattleNet Exclusive Confirmed

There are times where you don't actually want to believe some rumors. That's the case with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which just had its big reveal event much to the delight of Zombies, multiplayer, and battle royale fans. Sorry single player campaign fans, you aren't included in this celebration. That's right, Treyarch and Activision have officially killed off the single player campaign for Call of Duty. What's more is that they killed it off from the Black Ops series, which is arguably the best recent story arch the Call of Duty games have had going for it in quite some time. Instead, we have three different Zombies campaigns, the usual competitive multiplayer stuff, and a battle royale mode that we saw a total of 0 seconds of gameplay for today. Also, the PC release looks like it's exclusive to Battle.net with the port being han...

    Review: Destiny 2 (PC)

Like the first game, we're left wanting more.

When Destiny first launched in late 2014, it was something special, almost magical. Bungie and Activision created a new franchise that let players explore parts of our Solar System from their couches, forge new friendships, take down massive enemies, and feel akin to comic book superheroes. The content, while fun, was just lacking. There just wasn't enough of it, especially for a game that had that Bungie's always superb gunplay. In a lot of ways, the major issues with the launch version of Destiny were ironed out as more expansions were released. This obviously wasn't the ideal solution for everyone. The short of it is that the near ideal version of Destiny didn't come together until after a number of updates, a number of content drops, and, of cou...
