    Two Final Content Updates Announced for Animal Crossing: New Horizons

    Two new content updates are coming out soon for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The first is the free 2.0 update that will include Brewster and his coffee shop named The Roost, which is attached to the in-game museum. The other update is a piece of paid DLC called Happy Home Paradise that will allow you to design the home of your dreams and a new archipelago location.

    Nintendo Reveals Pricing for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack

    It's a pretty hefty price increase.

    Nintendo has finally revealed the pricing and availability date for their Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. This is the more expensive tier of Nintendo Switch Online that will grant subscribers access to N64 and Sega games as well as Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Happy Home Paradise DLC. This DLC can be purchased for $24.99 (USD) on its own if desired.

    Special Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct Scheduled

    A new Direct to air on October 15.

    Nintendo announced that Animal Crossing: New Horizons will have a specially dedicated Nintendo Direct next week. On Friday, October 15 at 7AM (PT), Nintendo will air a roughly 20-minute long steam that focuses on the future of the game.

    GameStop announced that it is closing over 300 stores this year. These closures are part of their continued efforts to "de-densify" and was announced during the latest earnings call for the dying gaming focused retailer.
