Re: From the Dark Side...
Oh, Maz is such a rebel! He is just the kind of l33t h4x0r I want to have my babies!
Honestly, I think this is a case of someone playing up his friend a little too much. "Most controversial?" "Biggest names in cheating?" Want to hear a secret? I've never heard of this guy, and from what the intro contains, I'm very unimpressed.

The interview is an interesting read insofar as it reveals a hacker to be a type of person other than the reclusive geek that the word connotes. Just that first paragraph, however, was enough to make me not want to read the rest because, contrary to what is written, this man is incredibly unimportant, anything but controversial, and anyone who actually cares who he is should find a better hobby quick. That being said, my comments should not be taken as insult so much as they are fact. It's a video game. There are no important or controversial video game players. I'm so sorry, but they just don't exist. Now, perhaps if this Maz ate babies while playing video games...
In short, people are blowing this out of proportion. He's not that great and he's not the devil. He's just him. Sure, it's a slightly entertaining read, but it is not an assault on someone's way of life (so many seem to consider Battlefield a way of life). Calm down and enjoy the interview for what it is. No one is endorsing anything and no one is forcing anyone to believe anything.
I recently had an opportunity to talk to one of the most controversial people you'd probably ever meet in this community. One of the biggest names in cheating today, Maz. One misconception people may have is that he's a big bad hacker that wants to destroy the community...
