We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
This is why I've grown to be ****ed at the Battlefield community. Everyone is so greedy and want more and more and more. For you whiners out there, why don't you go get a freakin computer science degree and go get a job at DICE and make the fricken patch. Do you realize that these are people that are doing jobs and you treat them like crap for absolutely no reason? They told us that this patch would be small and I say it's pretty good for only being 2 weeks. So if you're going to whine about it then stop playing the game. It seems to me that you think it is unbearably bad so you better just stop hanging around in a forum which goal is to talk about the game you so strongly hate.
You think DICE is doing this out of the goodness of their hearts? They are making millions of dollars off this game, THEY NEED TO FIX THE DAMN THING!
Well, after several hours gaming last night, im still getting the sync issues introduced with 1.2. Pretty dissapointed with this, im hoping that a reboot after is got done last night is gonna help..!! lol
So far the patch is OK for me...I did notice a lighting issue that annoyed me...there was a block of light in a hallway after someone used a tear gas grenade...Basically, it looked like a square area where the smoke and light didn't fill properly...this wasn't happening before the patch. In an effort to fix the game for lesser graphics cards, they caused an issue with my X1900 xtx... Oh well, the game still plays fine for me...
Having problems with the patch. I installed the full patch four times and the incremental twice. All following a restart. I can't play any of my servers in my favs list, they are all red. At the top right of my screen it says 1.1.2696-528.0 is that my version number which would imply that I never updated? This is killin me. Please help, i can't waste another night NOT playing...

No need to worry ppl, it was my zone alarm, it was working before the patch, so i checked out the settings and the "server settings": "trusted and internet" were on the (blue) ask option, I just put them to (green checkmark) the "allow" under program control and then it connected in a few seconds.
What options do other people who use zone alarm have (ie: all four options under program control set to allow or not?) any feedback would be appreciated.

mine was like that b4 the patch, but I was getting stuck at the "logon to account server" stage with the BF2 "2" just spinning and spinning.
I guess it was asking me but the "popup bubble" that I needed to hit allow on was hidden below the BF2 window.
Hummm seems ok to me so far... nothing too wierd that isn't normal for an EA patch. Then again saying EA, Patch, and normal in one sentence is against humanity LMAO!
I noticed smoother graphics especially on Kubra Dam. Maybe it was just me. Anyway, the bad news is, I've crashed 3x more often than usual. 6 times in one day, all related to VOIP. Randomly (so far it seems) when using the VOIP in game, it will freeze and create an awful high pitched sound and then loop the last second of audio, until I cant take any more and reset. Am updating my Audigy drivers (kind of surprised there was an update )... see how it goes..

I'll say again, i couldnt play the damn game with 1.2 and now i can thanks to 1.21. As far as i'm concered, they fixed the damn game. The gameplay is not that much different. Stop ****ing whining. If you hate EA/DICE so much then just don't buy the damn games!
Wow, I played for about 5 hours straight last night. All SF maps. Not one time did I crash to desktop. Not one time did I have terrible graphics while sniping the tv station on warlord. Only once did my sniper sight go in and out while not pushing any buttons. I have to say that if I can repeat this again they will have done a terrific job on this patch and I give them mass amounts of props. Now if I could figure out how to plop a .50 cal into one of those armoured carriers or AA tanks I would be happy (lol).
