I hate to say this but maybe they need to look at Valve and see what they are doing with Steam to stream applications/games to the user.
High levels of bandwidth and some nasty bugs in the beginning; but all patches were applied in real time and they could even stop the spread of a patch if a bug was discovered and do a rollback. Introducing that now might not be the best thing though.

I hate to say it, But I am thoroughly disappointed with the new patch...I downloaded it, installed it and tried playing on 5 or 6 servers out of the 14 or 15 that were listed, all of them were laggier then ever even with 5 or 6 people playing, one server kept giving me a "there is a problem with your connection" error as soon as i entered, even before the kit menu loaded and booted me out of the server...I may revert to 1.2 :cry:

It's prolly server side issues when people are uppgrading their servers.

Well I'm glad they fixed some of the major issues. Broken maps and a broken battlerecorder are pretty serious bugs. So I'm thankful about that.

But what do you guys think of the new AA and G-to-A setup? Seems they didn't do any coding at all, and just reverted to pre-1.2-patch. I sat on various IGLAs on Oman, with skies full of targets, and couldn't kill a derned thing. Too bad they can't find a happy medium.

Dude, Im sure EA/Dice have enough money to higher expert people to make these patches, there is no excuse for how the lag takes over the game on most PC's no matter what speed. Im just wondering, they should know that we can wait for patches as long as they're useful. I, myself have not seen any bugs, but the major lag I get on all servers made me forget what was wrong with the game on release.

Can we stop all the bit-ching until Euro Forces comes out - Maybe some of the fixes are in that release...

The booster pack wont have any bug fixes because this was it (1.2 and 1.21 hotfix).

Yeah, agree on all that specially the AA. I was liking the 1.2 patch in that reguard. At least you could do something about the air whoring. Back to camping the planes eh... :)
