~e5.0001 running along side BF2 is normal dont worry about that, im not sure what it does i just know its legit.. edit: i googled a little, they say it has something to do with copy protection on ALL EA games.

and is anybody else not ranking up? i got all the unlocks so its not a big deal but if if it doesnt give me 2nd LT when i hit 60k tomorrow....

Seems to be working alright. I ranked up on my last game with 1.2.

Windows System Restore is the Devil, don't trust it, don't rely upon it. Turn it off and use Ghost or something in its place.

are u talking about the norton ghost? so should i use that for now on?

ok i've downloaded the incremental and the full. the incremental installs but says i need 1.12, i already have it. i reinstalled 1.12 and tryed again w/the incremental still didn't work. the i installed the 1.20 full and it went all the way through the installation and patching and said patching was complete. When i log in to BF2 it says that i still have 1.12. can someone plz help me i am so f**king lost its not funny

Im with all of you that are with the patch, it is the s***. And I am so tired of people complaining about the sniper class being overpowered, it all crap the sniper class is still the same, there is no one shot kill unless you get hit in the head, it still take 2 shots to the body, if your going to whine go get your mommy to hold your hand and go play Halo or something and let the real men play battlefield 2. Seriously you just can't please some people...oh yeah death to all heli and plane whores!!!!

nope..personally if you have c4 in real life im gonna toss the mother ****er....this patch sucks ass...btw...I worked with Electronic Warfare (anti air) in the military...and the kill probability on helicopters is no where near the crap in the new patch...the old way was better...

Quite honestly,it hasto be the coding,I can run UT2004 Maxed out no lag,no stutter,CoD2 the same,any game pretty much,same deal. Im upgrading my card (not because of BF2,but cause I want to)from a GeForce FX5200 128mb to the new 7000 series pci express,and will continue to use my ocz dual channel high speed 1 gig ram ect. haveto upgrade my processor cause the pci express board and combo Im gettn doesn t use socket A amd 2500.
Even with getup I should be able to run pretty good,however it doesn t,everything on low. Theres somethin real screwy here.Why can UT2004 run smooth as silk on this rig and not BF2? I say either bad coding or (CONSPIRACY):|: bad buisness,like force the people to buy super high end cards by makin a game that only supports it. With todays world and buisness ethics it wouldn t surprise me.
Even UT2007 says that ll it support geForce 6 cards.anything higher is a bonus.

The full patch you need when you have not patched BF2,the incremental you need if you already have the previous patch installed..


I love the new Sniper rifle,saved a unlock specially for it,but in the list of unlocks there was no P90,to bad
and i still see allot of people with the F2000,too bad...Still have to test out SF for some time how the game now is compared to the previous patch...if it has really improved the game...

Did you unlock the DAO first, I wish i did not click on the blank bug glitch before the patch came out. Because well today the blank bug glitch unlocked me the P90, I wish i saved the unlock for the new Sniper Rifle.

But I hope EA gives people who buy Euro Force 2 spare unlocks.

I think the patch is horrible, not because the C4 whorring was taken away, and the bunnyhopping etc. But because I can't even play the game anymore! I get an FPS of like 20, and it drops to 10 when there is more than 1 vehicle in sight. Before the patch I had an FPS of 50, sometimes 90, the lowest I saw it was 30. But now its allmost always at 10!!!! I thought this patch was going to increase my FPS not deter from it (geometries performance gain)!

I was a bunnyhopper and C4 chucker, and was one of the few 'whorers' that was looking forward to the changes in gameplay, but the performance difference is just p!ssing me off! Maybe its because my card isn't supported? But that's still no excuse!

I think it's a sodding joke that my PC with 2gb ram, 2800+ AMD Athlon 64 processor, 6800GT 128mb AGP video card is running at 10-20 FPS on default high settings.

My thoughts exactly, why when other games (have you seen UT2004 full out?) play like a dream and here comes BF2 with its bad patches and performance and... LAGGGGGGGGGG issues, they didn t even try to attempt a fix much less an acknowlagement on the lag indoors issue.

Noticed a fair bit of whining from the (amateur) pilots. With so much whining AA will probably be reduced again.

One thing I have noticed is that high pingers seems to cause alot more lag than they did in 1.12.

I've noticed the helicopters last about as long as tanks now. jets can now be shot down. Support weps are now like they should be, sniper rifles are now more like the real thing...before it was like being bothered by a knat.. ....Looking for more stuff. I like it so far. Haven't seen the red name bug yet either.

When i go to connect to my account, it just freezes. just doesnt stop loading and i have to restart my computer.
