Additional Patch 1.03 Download Area

To help with the download of the new patch, I posted it in our public folder of our FTP. Limited to 10 concurrent downloads at a time.

The Hash for this file is MD5: 63b68d4904cb59d09932553052a741dd ; please confirm after download and always run anti-virus prior to opening. We had to repair three folks computers today that had installed the patch from "other" places. They contained an Mirc script which cause their systems to crash. Known dll was insane.dll. Just be careful. And by the way come round to the TruEvil Ranked server for some fun.

I am a little confused. i have the patch and i went up one rank then all of a sudden nothing happened. my progress wont go up and i havet gone up in rank at all. its like im stuck at corperal. what is the problem and WHAT DO I DO???

first, make sure you are in a ranked server, preferably an EA ranked server. You should see your rank go up in game...but you are not done. Make sure you finish the round, preferably two rounds. Leave the game and disconnect. You can reconnect and see your new rank(s) and get your unlocks. If you don't, wait and try again.

I have also heard that you need to install the patch and play the game as the same windows user that installed the game in the first place. The CD key is now encrypted in your registry.

And I think you have been smokin something yourself. I saw absolutely NO differance in the ground AA missiles. 9/10 times they miss even when you have locked on to the target.
Planes are still way too dominate in this game.

For the love of God, have you read through the 15000 posts asking the same thing? It takes TIME for the servers to update your rank and to get the unlocks.

Well, I have a bunch of gripes and a bunch of "THANK YOU GOD"s :) BUt to keep it short and simple...the rank system is bunk now. I understand and sympethize with players who dont get in as much time per day and want to be able to use the unlocks that others have , but hell u DONT DESERVE EM. They put in that time to EARN them. I mean whats the point of the unlock system if everyone gets 3 extra ranks in a day and gets 3 extra unlocks? I mean its dumb to have players that PUIT that time in only to have thier efforts mean nothing since they are now faced with people using the same weapons that they spent so much time earning after only a round or 2.

They SHOULD have simply rounded the poiunts back to Zero then REDONE the rank requirments. I mean the top 35 percent almost assuredly stat padded to get there and I dont agree with that . DICE and EA could have EASILY reset everyones points, then monitered players with amazing increase in points. I mean at least until the patch was a week or so old. How hard is it to notice if a player goes up a thousand points in 2 or 3 rounds? I mean AVERAGE points per round has got to be around 25 or 30. This would give everyone a chance to earn ranks and weapons legitematly by the new system. No one I know wasd above Gunny BEFORE the patch ANYWAY. I mean 2,500,000 for top rank is TOTTALLY unrealistic without stat padding so the point system is ok by me. It just should have been done in conjucntion with a stat reset IMO.

I keep getting the "this server requires you to have an unmodified version of the game, please revert to the official version and retry" wtf, i haven't done any mods. Im trying to figure out if it has to do w/ the patch.
