For a patch that was supposed to be the end-all-be-all to problems with BF2, this absolutely SUCKS:

1. No EAX fixes for Audigy 2 users (you know, the ENDORSED soundcard for BF2)
2. No widescreen support (this is 2005, right?)
3. No netcode enhancements (maybe ask Valve or Epic for pointers)

This is a joke. My copy is going up on ebay for $5 (to cover shipping charges).

I think your taking it a bit to far there, The game works sure it has it's problems and still will after the fix as you just said but EA are a big company they don't just work on one game at a time, They have 10 or 20 in production.

For all the people moanin about the time it's taking the longer it takes the better, They'll be more fixes and then you can all find something else to whine about.

I think your taking it a bit to far there, The game works sure it has it's problems and still will after the fix as you just said but EA are a big company they don't just work on one game at a time, They have 10 or 20 in production.

I could give a sh1t how many games they have production. If they can't produce 10 to 20 quality games that work as promised, then they need to reevaluate their workload.

Internal operations issues are not my problem. If you buy a car but it only steers right, do you give a rat's a55 if it's the result in them trying to do too much at once?

Yeah, some of us are real hats for expecting the game - which we paid $50 for - to work after months and months of waiting and three patches.

How dare we voice our discontent! How dare we have such rediculous expectations!

And P-f'ing-S: I didn't see anything about the team color problems, either.

What a crock.

Atleast there fixing the issues, Would be different if they just left them.
I know you said about the other issues but not everyone has Widescreen a majority of people have a 20" LCD and not everyone has an Audigy ZS 2 even though i do myself and i don't have any issues with my sound..:)

Man...140 plus fixes? This should be interesting. Here are my complaints in no particular order,lol.

1) Noobs:except for the ones who know where the "sorry,my bad" hot key is!
2) Dieing because my parachute wont open after base jumping: critical when evading APC lamers!
3) FF lock-ons when piloting:How many times have you killed your team member because his vehicle lit up like an enemy vehicle...then get punished?
4) Getting stuck in prone position: When I stand up and run...I really just lay there and the enemy plays "shoot the retard"! (usually happens when prone near a wall or under something)
5) Beach Deaths: I roll up on the enemy shores only to be overrun by my own boat,lol.
6) Latency: I know I cleared the corner on my screen but the enemys' bullets kill me when Im already on the other side of the building.

I have many more but won't post them all.

1. You have no idea how many people have widescreen monitors. The fact is, it's supported by most games (except BF2) these days. Look at any other AAA title, and you'll find widescreen support. It's not like my post is the first time you've seen someone talking about it.

2. The Audigy 2 is the "endorsed" card for the game, and while you may not be having problems, there are a TON of people are. Apparently you've not seen the 50+ page thread over at EA UK regarding the Audigy 2 problems and EAX. Again, EAX is a standard feature (in fact, a feature that EA/Dice boasted about) and I have every right to expect (and demand) it to work.

I'm a little tired of the kids who are either a) unaffected by the problems or b) simply swallow whatever's thrown their way, complaining about the people who are justifiably ticked off about the quality of this product. Just because you are unaffected or you don't care doesn't mean the rest of the world should step down to your standards. It's not like we're talking about exotic features here. Team colors? EAX? Widescreen? This stuff is pretty basic, folks.

It's not like I'm asking BF2 to cook my fuggin breakfast.

There's a difference between "voicing discontent" and saying stuff like "This is a joke. My copy is going up on ebay for $5 (to cover shipping charges).".

All I'm saying is, if there are things you don't like about the game, by all means, post them. But if you hate the game so much, go play something else and delay the inevitable stress-induced stroke you're going to have if you keep sticking around a community devoted to a game you loathe.

But, I digress... :)

That's the problem, All people do is complain! EA are trying there best to fix the game and the patch is'nt even released yet and there's people moanin about 'Why is'nt this supported blah blah" !
