The PC gaming has turned into a cestpool of complaining and it really has gotten out of control. Most of the new people who complain really have no experience in the past of what the PC gaming industry was like 10+ years ago and how bugs existed than.
Now with a lot of these forums it has turned into a whinning spam-fest of people who have too much time on their hands and have no personal respect for anybody. People are much more rude then they used to be and the amount of incompetent people has increased. These people are really lazy and are first to post about a problem before even trying to search for a problem.
But there will always be the people who need others to wipe their asses for them. Not trying to take any of the blame away from EA and how maybe EA rushed this game out about maybe 1-2 months early; its a learning process and it is very hard to get thing right for the amount of systems out there worldwide and how each one is really different from eachother. It's really amazing that they actually get the game working for how many people out there that you don't hear from on the forums, but there will always be the minority in a forum who seem to speak for the majority of the world.

Yes it is normal. That is why I canceled the download and got it from fileshack.com at 250mbits/sec.

EA are trying there best to fix the game and the patch is'nt even released yet and there's people moanin about 'Why is'nt this supported blah blah" !

How do you know they are doing their best? If this is their best then maybe they shouldn't be in the gaming industry.

And to the person who said, people don't remember what it used to be like, yes, I do remember. Games used to be shipped with very few bugs, and of those bugs, they were minor. I've been playing PC games since the mid 1980's and the standards have continued to slip over the years. Yes, they've gotten more complex, but game companies have continued to make stupid choices and their quality control has gotten worse. Almost none of the game companies design their games so they can be patched easily. They almost all use the old tired system of spaghetti code that is much more difficult to patch. Hell, even Microsoft is moving away from this because they've finally seen what a disaster it is.

I haven't had any problems with the latest patch so far, but 4 months after the game shipped we finally get a decent patch? And there still are a lot of things that need to be fixed. Even with BF1942, we got better support. Even with BFV. DICE/EA just keeps getting worse.

I'm afraid that weapons unlock is not separated from the current rank. I've just unlocked three weapons today!!!
