how do u get it
it says 1:4 kill to death ratio

you have to have 5 kills and 20 deaths to get the purple heart. Its not a 2 kills and 8 deaths ratio, you have to have at least the 5 kills and the 20 deaths.

Also...lol...I don't know why you'd want the purple heart...with that many deaths compared to kills, its almost like the game feels sorry for you and gives you that award

One thing that might be listed here but I am not going to read through 5 million pages to find an answer for, but for the war college ribbon, is the final requirement a) win loss ratio of 3:1 or b) kill death ratio of 3:1 ??? I have looked at ubar (the link above) and it says wins/loss ratio of 3:1. However...another place that also has ubar, says its a kill death ratio of 3:1....which is it!

have you had your eyes checked lately? i see almost all the ribbons for that guy, and it shows no purple heart. pluse you don'e get any real medals other than purple heart till you are in the thousands of global hours. yea that race guy he has no awards...

You don't have to be such an ass, I was joking around about the purple heart. No I don't have the purple heart now, my sig updates all the time automatically and it would show it if I did. And I don't get where you think I believe myself to be the best player on bf2...I never said such a thing. Maybe I'm not the one that needs to get their head out of their ass...

He was making a valid point. The purle heart is like being awarded the wooden spoon.
Its a sort of sympathy medal for those players that are getting their arses whipped. I have one myself oh yeah and he ended his comment with so I pressume he was being lighthearted. maybe you should redress the retard comment ?

This site's ways of getting the awards is about 90% accurate, so if you are looking for how to get the awards, total bf2 works just fine. Ubar is also good, though I can't seem to find a correct version of it since one place has UBAR that says you need X while another place that has ubar says you need Y...

I can't see how anybody gets the knife medals because I have trouble getting 1 kill with the knife let alone 10.

some peps cheat to get the knife an pistal medals,
i personely dont as i try an try to get em all my self if i can but i surpose it aint that bad 4 me as me wife also plays bf2
but if ya still havin probs private message me an we can swop server details an i help u to get them i dont mind as all i can do know is just play for the play time as ive got all of my basics awards plus all the ribbons that are in reach the only ones im missin out on is the commander 50hrs global.
an the heli an plane ribbons but i sux big time in the flyers :cry: .
so if any peps would like to earn there knife an pistol just give us a shout im happy to help.
even if its not the right way to do it lol

i know how that it i cant seem to get it i think the most knife kills i got in 1 round was 3 or 4 and pistol was 6 lol its kinda hard cause almost everyone bunny hops i dont do it cause i think it is the dumbest thing in the game
