It's time for "good news, bad news" with the stories coming from Rockstar Games today. First up is the good news. According to Rockstar, they have sold over 5 million units of Red Dead Redemption. This figure is only for the number of units sold to retailers, not for those purchased by the end consumer. Along the same train of thought, Grand Theft Auto IV has sold over 17 million units to date.
And now it's time for the bad news. It was revealed today that Max Payne 3, having already been delayed once, has been pushed back again. Originally slated for release during the Winter of 2009, the game was pushed until between August 1 and October 31, 2010. Max Payne 3 is now no longer slated to be released during this period, pushing the release out until nearer to 2011 or beyond. The company has not yet set a new time period for the game's release.
