Tactical Intervention Coming Early 2010, New Screens

Minh Le's (aka: Gooseman) latest project, Tactical Intervention, is slated to have a beta release in the first half of 2010.
Tactical Intervention takes aim at maximize strategic team play. The game is being developed with Source Engine and set in the modern battle between terrorists and counter terrorism team. Tactical Intervention is guaranteed to deliver real-like weapon and character design as well as K9 units and hostage NPCs with impeccable AI.

"Counter-Strike-type of game is proven to be a success throughout regions such as Asia, Europe, and North America. It is quite challenging to balance between bringing out familiarity and new system at the same time. But I can guarantee you will have fun paying it," said Mihn Lee.
Bigdownload has a number of new screenshots for Tactical Intervention.

Look for more information on the beta release in the near future.

This looks like part Counter-Strike and part Action Half-Life (though I'm fully aware his past is AQ2, which has no stunts if I recall correctly). Hmm... I think I will be interested in "paying" this game when it becomes available. The ability to take hostages as human shields on the terrorist-side, and the ability to use K9 units incapacitating/interfering terrorists on the counter-terrorist side sounds interesting enough to check out. The main thing I want to see, is how it is possible for the game to be designed for roughly 2 minutes per round on average, while still having players complete their respective objectives in the missions available. I also want to see how this will fare against Combat Arms, Sudden Attack, and erm... Wolf Team (this one might be an apple/oranges comparison)?
