Has anyone actually even talked about what this thread was intended for in the first place? Sorry if you have I just got tired of reading the arguments.
The map pack is released for the 360 on March 30th. From what I've seen and read there will be 3 new maps and 2 or 3 flashback from CoD4.
In addition to the maps there are rumors that there will be new Spec ops missions. Also there are rumors that they will adding and replacing guns and perks. There has been word of more titles and emblems and camos. I believe i read they are bringing back the gold camo which can be obtained similarly to the way in CoD4.
The maps are confirmed for sure. I believe the 2 flashbacks i read were crash and overgrown.
Whichever console you purchase this for it will surely be money well spent.

your all stupid shit. The reason it is coming out on xbox 360 first is because we actually pay for our shit. Also they don't want to release it yet to ps3 because you can share the maps with up to 5 people which takes away profit to IW. If you douche bags on ps3 didn't steal maps and actually payed for you internet and multiplayer you might have the privilege of bring an "exclusive." So we get it first cause we are obviously superior and have better multiplayer which allows them to fix possible lags or glitches if there is any.
But in the end its still stupid cause your paying about $15 for 3 maps and 2 other old maps that they didn't touch and get to charge us for.

i have a ps3 and an elite there the same thing except ps3 jus has more things put into the system plus ive heard so many ppl whining about 1 of there xbox games broke i havent heard anyone thats ps3 game doesnt work due to sratches. i personally prefer ps3 cuz the free online you can create as much ps3 accounts yu like which xbox you gotta pay for each one i think i played my xbox like 3 times cuz l4d2 everyone that says xbox or ps3 is way better its cuz there not gna down wat they have

All you Xbox or PS3 fanboys are a bunch of no brained fuckwhits. I hope you are all aware that BOTH the xbox360 and the PS3 run with relatively old hardware and the both of them are severely limited by their GPU capabilities. For example... The PS3 has a GPU based on an nVidia GeForce 7800 that was released In 2005. And the Xbox360 has a GPU based on the R500 architechture also released in 2005. Thus I come to the conclusion that both consoles GPU's blow dick. Another argument that some complete and utter moron made was that the PS3 supports a maximum on 1080p whilst the Xbox360 only supports a maximum of 1080i. YOU ARE AN IDIOT, get your facts straight before posting dickhead. And even if that was true, what would it matter. How many games can acctually be played at 1920x1080 with this hardware. By the way, on consoles modern warefare 2 has a native resolution of 600p. So have fun with playing at 1080p.

Yes I can see this is a bit old thread. Ps3 is ok but it is nothing ( nothing ) compared to Xbox 360. Ps3 has a bit better graphics when watching Blu-rays. But home theatre is for that. Xbox live costs few euros a month but that isn't too much for a lot of better online. And can u Ps fans see that you are crying for the map pack now, not me, the happy Xbox 360 fan.

However Xbox do have a better online system FACT.
Arguing about which is better is stupid especially if you dont know your facts... bluray does make a difference but this is only evident in ps3 exclusives because multi-platform games are not tweaked that much for each console.
Anyway Xbox uses get the map pack early because Microsoft has paid rights to the map pack for the period of time the two businesses negotiated and Sony cant afford to compete with Microsoft to buy rights because they make a loss on PS3s and give their customers free online... SIMPLE

For all you 360 fans out there, I have just one comment to make, and that is that PS3 is way better than the 360 because there isn't any benefits to owning a 360 like there is when owning a PS3. The reason for that is because PS3s have built in Wi Fi and 360s don't, PS3s use a hi-tech blue laser that reads discs x4 faster and better than standard DVD (unlike 360s), Blu-Ray discs hold up to x10 more data on them then DVDs, the PSN is free, and you can search the internet on the PS3. Look at the game Final Fantasy 13 on the 360, it has 3 discs in the case when in PS3s, there's only one. The standard DVDs that 360s use can't hold that much data on them unlike Blu-Ray discs that PS3s use! Plus, PS3s are way more user friendly because, on 360s, you have to buy Microsoft points to use to buy downloads and on PS3s, you just transfer money from a credit card into your bank account. So basically, if you need 500 Microsoft points, you can't buy just 900, you have to buy either buy like 1000 or 500 with a credit card. Therefore wasting money on extra points. Now please tell me 360 lovers in a mature way, is there anything the 360 does better at than the PS3 out of those facts I just pointed out? Probably at least 75% of 360 lovers that read this message are going to get really defensive about their crappy dust collecting 360 that uses out of date technology that is inferior to Sony's PS3. Now choke on that mental 360 lovers!

Alright bud, I think that's just about enought since you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Xbox360 and PS3 have the same MHz. My PS3 was $300, which is cheaper than the "best" Xbox you can get, which is gonna break down anyway. BluRay makes a huge difference, I have both and HD cable set and my PS3 and BluRay is just stunning. You can change out the L2 and R2 buttons, and the thumbsticks for insanely cheap, and besides, you have to buy a hundred dollar wireless adapter, and pay monthly or yearly for your mediocre Xbox Live. I agree that the PS3 lags more, but that's just something you have to sacrifice for the service being 100% free. And by the way, there's no problem I see with the lighting, and like you said, even if there were, it's basically the difference between "blue-green and an aqua". And for your information, I sold my Xbox360 to get a PS3 and I'm overly glad with my decision. I'm pretty sure the PS3 has more games. The only worthwhile games you have that we don't are the Halo franchise, which in my eyes, is truly not that great, and Mass Effect which you can get on a PC anyway.

Omg, exactly! The one and only thing that Xbox has better than Ps3 is that it's advertised more because it's owned by that $$$-company Microsoft. But then again, that makes them less user-friendly. Microsoft likes $$ more than your comfort, and shows it. Sony also (of course) likes $$ more, but they do EVERYTHING comfortably as far as I've seen. And don't use that "Xbox online is way better cause the players are better," because you're WRONG. You Xbox players are exactly the fucking same as us Ps3 players. Ooh you've got more 'pro gamers' as if that made a shitty little difference. Why would they be playing against you? They get ranked up with all the good players, so they're either fighting people who are just as good as them or they are doing Private matches to figure out the glitches and whatnot that they get paid to do. You've got just as many noobs as us, but more probably, because you have more players total. For all of you Xbox users out there i think it's time for you to admit that your online players are just the fucking same as ours. Just because you've got some Pros that hang out there, it doesn't mean that their presence somehow makes you better than us (rofl).
I'm not saying Xbox sucks btw. It's a GREAT system, as proven by its huge fan support. But all in all, I can't seem to find ANYTHING that makes it better than Ps3. In fact, I find quite a lot that makes us better. And I saw earlier that Ps3 sucks because it's full of casual gamers and not pros. First off, casual doesn't mean bad. I'm a casual player. I don't want to buy Xbox. That's more money (a lot more), including things like games for the other console, paying for online, and what ever else I would have to pay for. I much prefer having just one console, even if that means missing out on your precious Halo and whatnot. But that doesn't mean that because I casually play instead of professionally that I'm bad. I'm great! Me and my friend kick ass on MW2. Not because Ps3 is full of noobs, I believe I already explained why, but because we're just good. And Xbox has pretty much all casual players too.
