Valve, Infinity Ward, and More Make the Develop 100 List

The annual Develop 100 listing was just released showcasing the top 100 developers of the past year. The selections were made based on a number of criteria including "sales data, critical success and industry standing."

Valve made a strong showing in the number 21 position, but just who topped the list at number one?

1. Blizzard Entertainment
2. Nintendo
3. Rockstar North
4. EA Canada
5. Capcom
6. Ubisoft Montreal
7. Treyarch
8. Infinity Ward
9. Epic Games
10. Bethesda Softworks

Other notables include Konami at #11, Lionhead at #22, Harmonix at #26, and PopCap at #35. You can check out the full list of the top 100 developers over at the official Develop 100 website.

I personally view that Treyarch is sitting at #7 only because they were riding off the coat tails of Modern Warfare the year before.
