nice, 50 bucks for hl2+ep1+ep2+tf2+portal is a fair price, no matter if you allready own hl2+ep1, esp. as you can sell them. for me personally it's great as I don't have HL2 and EP1 (played it at my friend's, as i had no money at that time )

i don't really consider it paying extra for hl2+ep1... i consider the price about right for 3 games in one box, but hey those extra 2 are bonus especially considering hl2 was 50$ when it came out.

Bleh. I hope theres a different steam only package similar to the Black Box, unless this isnt only for retail box sales.

I only bought Episode 1 because I thought there would be a discount for TF2, EP2 and portal. This box stuff just sounds so confusing. Why can't we just purchase them separately?

Despite having just released a new commercial for the Black Box, it seems as though there will be no Black Box this holiday season.

"We're going to have one package, The Orange Box, available on the PC (US$49.99) as well as the 360 and PS3 (US$ 59.99). In addition to the three new products — Portal, Team Fortress 2, and Half-Life: Episode Two — The Orange Box will also contain the full version of Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2: Episode One.

You say you already own Half-Life 2 and/or Episode 1? Valve has you covered.

Those who purchase the PC version of The Orange Box will get three separate Steam product codes: One for the three new games, one for HL2, and one for Episode One. This way a PC Orange Box owner can give away their Half-Life 2 or Episode One unused Steam product codes if they don't need a copy of those games. We are excited to deliver the highest value of new gaming content ever offered in one box."

So you're essentially forced to pay extra for games you may already have, but at least you can do whatever you want with the extra games. That's not too terrible, right?
