also i'm quite bothered by the fact that VALVe is making all the new models hold the guns not quite lined up to their sight. then again... CS 1.6 models never held the guns correctly anyways...
I think thats just you growing older and realising theres more to life than CS :)
lol... you might be right about that, but I meant CSN going down, like, server problems or something. Sometimes I punch in csnation.net in my browser and I get a completely blank, white page.
As for CS/CSN's seemingly declining popularity, I don't think it's just me. For instance, CS:S has been out for quite a long while now and there still really isn't any substantial content out by CSN, while classic CS has a billion more features/sections/articles/info dedicated to it.
You see, I'd dismissed the idea that it would be the red line stop, because that would be the much more notable Belmont stop in Lakeview, one of the nicest northside areas short of living in old town. It's a huge and beautiful residential/shopping area packed with yuppies and tourists. The map on the otherhand is set in a warehouse/industrial yard which I could only assume would be Logan Square etc (closer to the blue line Belmont el).
Of course this misalignment of setting means I cannot possibly ever enjoy playing the map, and will be forced to switch my server to 24/7 de_dust, which accurately depicts desert living to my satisfaction.
If they made CS a pay per month game they would loose THOUSANDS an THOUSANDS of users i would predict as a lot of them either would refuse to pay or are younger and won't be able to abtain the money to pay. I know back in 2001 when i started playing CS if it was pay to play i would have never even had picked it up just for that reason.., I really hope this stays as it has in the past, nothing more than a rumor and idea.

We tend to pick and choose different elements to mix. These aren't strict one for one from the reference material. Hopefully you'll still enjoy it.
