*sigh* so I open up steam and I choose "Register a product you already own" and put in the CD Key for HL2 on the back of the CD1 flap, and I get an "Invalid CD Key" sign. I have stared at it for a good 10 minutes now making sure I'm correct on every letter. Do I have to do an install from CDs and make a new account for steam or what?

I can, but I was hoping I could just register it to my current steam account so I would have the other games available as well. (Installing it right now as a matter of fact, and I would be super excited if when it asks for my cd key it denies me again....I think that's when I fly off the flipping handle)Comment

wow, you should feel VERY proud about that. I love this silver package. If I need a breather from HL2 but still want to play a game, then i have CS:S. If I get bored of that, HL:S. And when i get bored of that, I will play DoD:S when it comes out.Comment

wow steam sucks holy crap... 5 hours now and still havent been able to log on to account. gg steam sucked ever since its birth... why even invent the crap if none can play 24-7.
cant even play offline cuz accounts are not responding. oh well guess ill have to twittle my thumbs until gay steam fixes their nub crap.
