downloading it takes like 5 years!

just buy it from the store and install it in mere seconds. runnin it on a cd is faster then using your hard drive to run it.



we tested the cd vs download and i got the cd, my brother got the download... i was on the 6th level by the time he was on the 2nd.



he had lag issues and i did not. obviously cd is better. just thought you should know.



problem in getting cd is that u have to wait in line n crap, but is well worth it. i mean think about it... what happens if your hard drive crashes (or a virus and u need to reinstall windows) and u have to re-download hl2... oh boy... rather have cd more smarter ^_^



btw, if your lagging on hl2 get these:



- more ram! 1024mb ram at least.

- a good video card like nvidia geforce.

- an amd or intel pentium 4 with at least 2.5 or more ghz.



this fixed alot of our lag probs.

now get out there and beat the game!

its cuz their overloaded with idiots downloading the game instead of buying the cd.



when u get cd u can play hl2 and it wont lag like the download and steam. this is another point to bring up... why play hl2 on steam? steam is half the time is down or screwing up. remember 1.5 cs vs steam cs? 1.5 doesnt lag but 1.6 on steam does? same can be implemented for cd vs download dont download lazy nimrods god.



now i cant play mods cuz of idiots downloading... sigh.

ya i hate this i can't log in steam anymore..i had to reinstall it cuz i keep getting freeze errors and bugs when playing games on steam. So now i have to re-download everything and i cant even log in. Hopefully it wil be fixed soon
