fuck halo2...sure its for a different crowd....cs/hl....take skill...and take a while to get decent at all...the learning curve on halo is very very quick and thats why it scored higher..



.if anybody who would be considered good at halo put as much time in learning to play cs/hl as they did halo..they would still be n00bs..bottom line



i play both and there is no comparrison...hl2/source r0x0rs my s0x0rs...halo is just fun

Halo is very easy to learn. I played H1 one night at some friends and by the end of the night I was as good as them and they played for motnhs. I thought that Halo was weak and I havent played it since.

There's some things in Halo2 that just don't make sense. The AI is pretty crappy,

stop playing on easy/normal difficulty n_n

especially if you let your allies try to drive.. make sure you're far from them or they'll run you over.

lol, maybe you should get out of their way? in the levels where your teammates are driving vehicles, you should be in one as well, unless you like walking for 20 minutes

its made out of the same plasma shit that shields elites, when bullets hit it, it gets damaged?

That's not what I was talking about. There are grunts on almost every floor before you get there, when the only way of getting down is through the turbines. Yet you had to start at the top and battle your way down. Does that make sense to you?

I wasn't saying the AI was too easy, it's just fine. I was saying it's got some major problems, because they do really stupid things. The difficulty doesn't change this.

I jumped out of my warthog to grab a ghost on the ruins level, and they promptly slammed into me while I was up against a wall. They had no reason to go that way, and did anyway. Watching them drive up ramps is just frustrating, they fall off half the time even if all they had to do was just go straight.

That's strange, because whenever I'm getting shot, it didn't shield me, nor take damage. The only time its 'ammo' was used was when I attacked with it. Makes sense right? No.

Halo2 is a cool game, but there are just problems with it that I was pointing out. Most people wouldn't be thinking "Why are my allies already down there when there are enemies up here?" or "why can zombies handle tanks so well?". The gameplay is alright, but the storyline is just lacking.

Nope. The Halo 1 story was more complex then that and to fully understand the overall Halo story 100% you'd have to go read the books.



Anyway, sorry but my vote goes to Halo 2, as it has done since both games were announced. Half-Life 2's strength will be in it's mods, not the game itself (same as was the case with original Half-Life - the game itself sucked ass but the mods kept it going and ruled). On the other hand, Halo 2 kicks arse all on it's own.

If you don't already have it, go and buy Halo 2 now. If you don't have an XBox, go buy an Xbox and Halo 2 - it's worth it.

maybe your friends aren't good at halo? i've got friends that use only the zooming pistol and hs you across the map first shot everytime..

im giving my voting for halo2 because i bought an xbox for CSX and CSX sucked so i need a reason to play my xbox and halo2 i played at a friends house and it was fun

1. A PC is more expensive than an Xbox.

2. The Xbox appeals more to sports-loving ganksluts who listen to rap. The PC appeals more to, well, "smarter" people. The former crowd greatly outnumbers the latter.

i spent 350$ on my comp (emachines w246) xbox + games for it cost like 300$... i know lots of people who program off there xbox with removable harddrives... like taking models out of CSX..

i also know alot of computer geeks who consider themselves geeks because they own some noobs on cs..
