Speaking on behalf of a site dedicated solely in bringing you daily news about our lovely modification of our favorite revolutionary first person shooter that is played with a trusty keyboard and mouse combination (who needs 19lb controllers?), you know which one to vote for (hint: It happens to rhyme with Saf-Knife Boo).

Fargo: What, two immensely popular game franchises put head to head in the days just prior to their release, working hardcore gamers like you and me into a frothing fever pitch? Creating instant flame wars in the forums and crowbar fights on the streets of small town America? Naw!

It should be noted that this poll was started on November 1. Therefore, neither games were released by then, so do not go asking "Isn't it unfair that Halo 2, now on store shelves, is pitted against Half-Life 2, a game that has yet to come out and be properly judged (and also creamed) on?" I mean, heck, don't you guys spread some fresh cream filling on new, shrinkwrapped videogames, too?

Halo 2 won, of course, for two reasons:



1. A PC is more expensive than an Xbox.

2. The Xbox appeals more to sports-loving ganksluts who listen to rap. The PC appeals more to, well, "smarter" people. The former crowd greatly outnumbers the latter.

Gamespy polls are more of a popularity contest. Halo fans go across forums telling everyone to vote for halo 2, whereas, half-life fans do nothing. To be honest, I bet 60% of us here didn't even know there was a gamespy poll for this, I sure didn't.
