To be honest, the benchmarks you gave were pretty bad. They just opened up a map and looked at the fps at a certain point. They didn't even use the benchmark included in CS:Source.

Well look at that! What a dramatic change, the 6800 went from 50 fps over the x800 xt pe, to nearly 50 fps under the x800. And these results were made by a highly efficient way. Now you won't read this, and ask why I didn't show with AA and AF off. I showed you this, because I said that if you wanted a better graphics to performance ratio, you would get an ATi. However you completely ignored that and figured I said the x800 xt pe was better than the 6800. Anyway, you provide a crappy argument when you use incorrect spelling and just call names like a 13 year old, anyone will tell you that.



By the way, this benchmark was the very first CS:S benchmark

YOU gave that website, and now that i showed that ATI wasnt that good omg those benchmark suxx, and 70 - 63 = 7 not 50, and u say i got "crappy argument" when u change all teh stuf to make ati look good... ur math is 545435346 times worst than my grammar, and all my "grammar" are mostly done on purpose cuz who give a shit about some1 spelling on the internet?! some1 who ran out of thing to say...

Your an idiot. That review is from August 18th. Maybe there were driver updates by now? The other review was from October 10th. I am not sure and too lazy to check, but I believe I heard the most recent driver updates are what put the geforce ahead in Source.



And yes, I still say if Valve is tweaking for ATI cards, they are stupid. I am sure they are trying to make the game run as fast as possible on either card.



I am buying the 6800GT. It is 200 dollars cheaper than the pe or the ultra and only loses a few fps compared to them.

The fact that you think 1 driver update will increase performance that dramatically, makes you sound like such a moron. Listen. The review they used was very faulty. They simply went to one part of the map and looked at the fps. The review I provided, however, records a demo, and uses the timedemo feature to get the average FPS. Anyway, why do you call me an idiot if you aren't even sure what you're saying? You just called me an idiot, then forwarded your argument by saying you were "lazy and unsure." That makes sense.

Then you're not only calling valve stupid, but you're calling atari, id software, activision (and the list goes on) all stupid. Face it, it's how the video game industry works. Of course they are trying to make it good on nvidia and ati, or else they'd lose fans. ATi will most likely run into less problems than nvidia though.
