If you want to have the best graphics with great performance, x800 pe xt beats nvidia.

So if you would like to keep your AA and AF at 4 & 8x and an 800x600 resolution, by all means buy the 6800. However if you consider the graphics to performance ratio, you'll want an x800 pe.



Don't kid yourself, half-life 2 is being tweaked for ATi cards, don't waste your money on an nvidia card especially if you plan on playing only half-life 2 (cs:s, dod:s, etc.).

this game could be better and csnation could be better if the old team of csnation came back ive been here for like 4 years now (registerd for 2) and this has been changing ever since cs is fun but cs:s is better but cs:s nees to evolve to 1.3 then itll be fun (then valve will take it away) then theyll releasy source 1.6 and everybody will hate it and this will start ALL OVER AGAIN (prolly with CS2 if it ever comes out)

are they ever going to fix the god damn crosshairs? How difficult can this be? I can't see any reason why they would intentionally make the crosshair reaction time different in CS Source, so why the hell hasn't it been fixed?

Have you not been paying attention to anything? Valve's been tweaking Half-Life 2 for ATI since 2003. It's no secret, and I'm not making it up.

ur more than retarded omg, the 6800 beat the x800 EVERYWHERE cept in like 2 maps in 1600x1200, by like 5 fps, how is that making the x800 better? valve did awesome tweaking if the 6800 beat the x800.......
