azzor, there's a huge difference between crashing a server (which might not even come back up again if the people running it aren't present) and exploiting some bug that everyone else could exploit too while still allowing the game to continue.



Granted, exploiting something such as the old shield bugs, or skywalking, or whatever, is still wrong (and not something I would do, myself), but it just isn't in the same league as intentionally crashing servers. It's like the difference between punching someone and blasting their head off with a shotgun. Both violence, one severely worse.

The paid version of CS:S is updated and has no %n exploit.



The cracked version, however, still crashes when the %n exploit is used.



myg0t members go around using a new script to crash servers.



myg0t members use the cracked version.



You can pre-empt them by using the %n exploit, IT WILL CRASH THE CRACK SERVERS/PLAYERS, BUT NOT LEGIT SERVERS/PLAYERS!
