Does VU hold the trademarks of HL2? If they were to reject the release canidate, could they fire Valve and hire some crap developer to release a new HL2? If so, I bet Valve would use the original version of HL2, but to avoid copywrite infringment, with a different name. I mean, they could name Gordan: Gordie, G-Man: F-Man, and Alyx: Alice. Also, instead of a crowbar, Gordie could use a tire wrench, or something like that.Comment

Sorry, I just felt the need to follow on with the rage comments about VU games, but seriously this is a joke, why don't they just release Half-Life 2, theN start bickering about profits instead of screwing the gamers around, it seems like we are caught in the middle of a childish dispute with neither side willing to give in. I really sympathise with Valve for working so hard on this game, only to be scuppered by some French motherf*ckers at the last hurdle. Seriously, just go eat shit and die VU.

if VUG DOES delay the game, then here's an idea. for those of you that can, perform DDOS on the VUG websites and VU websites. thats one step. #2, dont hack valve. you're just wasting time. valve is slate free and they're just as eager as us to release the game, so any attempt on them (valve) would be useless. instead, just use your time to hack/ddos/hate mail/boycott VUG. that should get thier attention. lastly, if it wil be a 6 month delay, well, during that time period there: Halo 2, the Nintendo DS coming out, ummm...fuck that i want my HL2. someone go ddos vug cause i'm pissed and it's too early in the morning.Comment
